Air
Buffeted by internal winds
my thoughts take flight.
Birdlike, they swoop and soar,
riding the thermals
of my mind.
Circling shoals,
winged and able.
Enjoying the freedom.
Relishing the space.
Not fettered, nor caged.
Observational acrobats.
Comfortable,
In their element.
