FIRE
Fickle fingers of flame
leap into the waiting air.
Curling Clockwise,
like tendrils
reaching for the sun.
Beneath the tranquil surfaces,
rampant fires are raging.
Earth scorched from within,
splits and trickles.
Molton core,
seeking
the light of day.
